The Samoan game
Kirikiti — Samoa's beloved adaptation of cricket — was introduced by missionaries in the late 1800s and has since become a defining part of village life. Played with a three-sided bat and unlimited fielders, it's celebration, competition and community rolled into one.
Today, Kirikiti and modern cricket run side by side, feeding a generation of players fluent in both traditions.
